Best Value for Money - Gigabyte 970A UD3P or Asus M5A97 R2.0 Motherboards

The Asus Motherboard is little more expensive than the Gigabyte but is it better value for money?

Is the Gigabyte one just as good as the Asus one?

It is likely that it will be put used alongside a FX6300 CPU and maybe a R7 370 2GB GPU.

    Reccommendations would be appreciated?

The Evo version of the Asus board is my favourite. A little more expensive, but I think worth it. That is what I am still running.

I usually find Asus are more expensive, but not really any better. Gigabyte are generally more solidly built.

Also Asus' quality control has been shocking for some of their products recently (E.g. just look at all the problems with the ROG Swift monitors). Gigabyte's RMA is much better too.

Ok, well to begin with I was going to go with the Asus one but a colleague of mine suggested that the gigabyte one is pretty much the same but alot cheaper.

Because im trying to keep costs down I think it makes more sense to go with the Gigabyte one.
