I'd like to suggest a Japanese film called Departures.
It's both humourous and moving, with a wonderful score. Highly recommended!

Got another recomendation here. Watched it recently and what an awesome movie, was on at an arts center near me that do the cinema thing every now and again, so went to see it while we had a babysitter and we couldnt go to far away.
Unstoppable
Tony Scott director with Denzel Washington and Chris Pine (Kirk from newest Trek movie), Dont get this one mixed up with the poor Wesley Snipes movie of the same name. Based on true events about a runaway train carrying toxic waste travelling at 70mph and needs stopping. Rollercoaster ride that has you on the edge of your seat, never heard of it but what an awesome movie. You wont regret seeing this movie, definately add it to your rental list, comes out 28th March.

Added both.
Stopped myself halfway through the description for departures as it may be nice to be watching this one ignorant.
Not sure how many foreign films are available through Lovefilm, I highly recommend The Twilight Samurai and My Sassy Girl.

Really liked twilight samurai. Unfortunately they only have the remake of my sassy girl.
Watched 2 of my favourite films on my day off yesterday which you might like?
The Man Who Would Be King (Rudyard Kipling tale with Michael Caine and Sean Connery)
K-Pax (Unusual story with Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges)
Give 'em a try if you've not seen them.

Just watched The Prestige, well worth anyone's time!
Also watched The Social Network too, I wasn't expecting much but it is pretty well done.

Really liked Zombie land. I can't stand Chris Tucker but I'll add Friday just for you Zack.
Can't pre-order Social Network and KA yet....
Got 6 weeks left of my sub so will have to go into movie watch overdrive.
Miller's Crossing is probably my favourite Cohen brothers movie. "Take your flunky and dangle" is a definate favourite.

Breach (2007).
Chris Cooper is one of those character actors, like (IMHO) Philip Seymour Hoffman, who by rights ought to be much more famous than they already are.
