If you don't mind subtitles, give Un prophète a watch.
It's around 2 and a half hours long but it seemed like nothing, to me that's a sign of a good and engaging film.
Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean
Thank you for smoking
The damned United

"The Other guys" is my best film as of late. Will ferrel seems to be hilarious in most of his films though.
Just watched Black Gold. As a Muslim and someone who lived in Kuwait for many years, I quite liked it.

Surprised you guys didn't like The Grey, I was really really impressed with it.
Contraband wasn't terrible in my opinion, storyline was relatively refreshing for me atleast.
Saw The Avengers on Thursday, not bad, but nothing special in my opinion.

The Awakening, not the underworld film.
Submarine
Both well worth a watch.

Getting through the Sparatacus series one at the moment and its been really good. Fornication and intrigue at every turn.
Spartacus is a good series, the first being the best.
I just finished Breaking Bad, which is worth a watch, although not as good as I'd hoped due to some of the character relationships/development.
"high-school chemistry teacher to neophyte crystal-meth cook"
Heh he; added.
They never really manage to portray either chemistry or chemists very well on the big screen and by never doing any background research.
It's a great premise in my opinion, just struggled to connect to some of the main characters due to their very up and down nature (in my opinion)
Still well worth a watch though
