Just watched Cabin in the Woods, enjoyed it, nice twist on your standard horror film (something I'm not into really)

Saw Safe last week, I knew I was going to like it since I'm a big Statham fan, always find he makes an average action film into something a little better, not sure, just like his style/screen presence.

Watched Mystic River earlier..was a bit too slow in places but a good story, if a little miserable! Good acting.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

Yesterday I watched Mad Max, Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. The first and third are pretty poor, especially as the first feels more like a art film.

The second is actually really enjoyable and I can see how much it has influenced modern media in relation to a post apocalyptic world. Really enjoyed the film, highly recommend even if just for the art direction.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

The last films I watched were (a bunch because they were on a flight):
Dark Shadows: Enjoyable, surprised to see HBC in a Tim Burton film...
The Dictator: Lightweight fun, with some poignant moments

I watched 2 other films as well, but they were forgettable. As in, I forgot what they were.

    Edit: Just remembered, they were:
Snow White and The Huntsman - OK but probably not given a fair crack as they started serving food halfway through
American Pie: Reunion - OK, fairly predictable romp.

I'm probably going to have to watch them again, cos the screen quality was shocking.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

Im going to chime in with a older film (well ish) pandorum, my rating would be 8/10 why? well because there is plot holes in it which i had to fill in myself

Otherwise though great film actually made me jump a few times to! (late at night lights of sound up XD)
