Spectre - Typical Bond, flashy, fit women and even flashier cars. Got the feeling that the car chase was there just to put the Aston in the movie. Still, enjoyable, and proof that women over 50 can still be Bond girls, easy when it's Monica Bellucci... 8/10

Again - I'll recommend the following:-

Whiplash - Think you might get it on Sky? 9/10

The Best of Me - It is a Romance/Drama (Netflix) - Has a good storyline to it, the missus was bubbling lol. 6/10

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

I watched Skyfall as last time I tried and fell asleep as I thought it was boring, really enjoyed it this time round

And then I watched Spectre, which wasn't as good, but still alright. The first scene was nicely shot.

I've also recently watched The Cobbler (Adam Sandler) on Netflix, what a waste of 2 hours that was. Mrs liked it.

Had Legend on Bluray sitting around, story of the Kray twins. the trailers made it look amazing, but in reality it was mediocre at best.

I've been given the new Star Wars film on Bluray - not sure if I should watch it or not as I've hated the franchise since E1:TPM. Heard it's surprisingly good.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

Watched Victor Frankenstein at the weekend, followed by Special Correspondents.

VF: OK-ish. A different take on the familiar story, with Harry Potter and Charles Xavier in it. It was OK but ultimately unsatisfying. 6/10

SC: Again, OK-ish. Funny in parts, but ultimately a bit of a drag. Hope the Brent movie is better: 6/10

Captain America 3 - loved the movie. It was really entertaining and I actually found Ant-Man to be more entertaining than Spiderman.

Woman In Gold. Based on a true story of a Gustav Klimt painting stolen from a Jewish family in Vienna during WW2. Good film, deviated from the truth in some areas (dont want to give too much away), but worth watching 8/10.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

A Scanner Darkly. The movie has Keanu Reevs, Robert Downey Jr. and Winona Ryder and it was a pretty decent watch. It's based on Philip K. Dick's novel of the same name. Oh yeah, the movie is completely rotoscoped.

    Zodiac (2007)
Brilliant, gripping but most certainly a slow burn. Based on the actions of a real serial killer, making it even more fingernail biting - 8/10

Have you watched it yet? What's your opinion?

    Personally, I found it atrocious

    Agent 47 (for 5th time)
For no reason I can keep watching that film for eternity... Such as Planet Terror and Machete with Dani Trejo!

One Hour Photo 2002, quite a quirky and non-mainstream movie. Robin Williams was excellent. I gave it a 7/10

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

Went to see 'Suicide Squad' yesterday, i thought it was quite good even though the film was a mish-mash. The references to Superman, Batman and several others was in my opinion nto required. My wife was not at all impressed with everyone's acting.
