Agreed. It was better than I expected...

I also managed to catch the latest Bourne, which was enjoyable.

Watching the other films (the trilogy, not the Jeremy Renner one) was also really interesting - to see how all of the technology changes.

    Suicide Squad
    5/10

Saving graces come in the form of a few of the characters; Deadshot, the Joker and Harley Quinn - one to avoid if you have little interest in the DC universe

Hmm... Wanted to watch Suicide Squad in the cinema. I guess I might have to reconsider.

    I recently watched "GhostBusters".
    Was quite Dumb and Stupid..
Best part was to see some of the original GhosrBusters in the film.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

I just watched 'Death to Smoochy' It had a good premise - a dark comedy about corruption in kids TV - and some good actors - Robin Williams, Danny DeVito, Edward Norton. The narrative was a bit messed up though. Got really confused by the end.

    Watched 'The Martian' last night.

Perfectly good, watchable film for the first hour...then someone flicked a switch and a visit to dumb-down world ensued. Awful.

First half 7/10, Second Half 1/10.

eXistenZ - mystery film at the Phoenix in Leicester - still don't know whether I enjoyed it or not - am baffled.
Cinema was absolutely full - at £3 a seat not that surprising, but what was surprising was the number of people who walked out - most of the early departers left when David Cronenburg's name appeared in the opening credits.

    Jason Bourne.

Overall was a good film. Dialogue was scarce.

Watched Johm Carter for the first time. Looked awesome but no depth in the characters. No wonder it flopped.

I agree there was no depth but I didn't expect or want any I enjoyed it for the shallow action flick it was, I'll be watching 2 when it comes out!

We watched the new Bourne yesterday, very meh :/
