I really liked Casino Royale, I wasn't too impressed with Quantum of Solace but it's grown on me after a few more watches.
I like Craig as Bond, I think he's good but they've gone back to formula with Skyfall, it's too self-referential, camp and overblown it's like something Russell T. Davies has written. I loved the low-tech, gritty fights they started with Casino Royale but now it's gone back to ridiculous stuff where the bad guy fires 20,000 rounds at a thin skinned vehicle that Bond's hiding behind before he pops up without a scratch.
Also, something else that really annoyed me, without going into spoilers, someone gives Bond his father's old 'hunting rifle,' and then they hand him a 12 bore shotgun*. Argh! Javier Bardem was brilliant but the film really pigged me off.
*Apparently, I'm wrong, it is a rifle - I still think it's a terrible film though!
I'm almost as annoyed as I was after I went to see Prometheus. Bah!!!!!!!

I really was unhappy with Craig's casting as Bond, though I regarded him a fine actor, I thought it wasn't the right choice for the role. Then I saw him in Munich and changed my mind!
Ah, Clive Owen - honestly, I think he's got no range - he can do flat or angry and that seems to be about it. I thought he was terrible as King Arthur, good in Inside Man but I always say to my other half that he doesn't need make-up, he needs creosote! ;)
I hired Prometheus to watch it again, to see if I liked it any better and I really didn't so I wouldn't rush at all!!

Latest viewing was last night, we watched "Eyes Without a Face" (both of us this time, not just me - Sally only just getting into my line of horror). French made as "Les Yeux Sans Visage" it tells the sad tale of a "mad" doctor's struggle to replace the face of his daughter by grafting on the face of his victims. Rather Hitchcock-esque in some shots, esp the lighting, I really rate this film.
Going to try Sally with "Les Diaboliques" tonight - a real shocker :)

It was funny at times but it wasn't that great. Plots were predictable, characters were predictable as well. It felt like I was watching a movie for kids despite the drugs, swearing and a few nude scenes.

Classic 80's cheese-horror, not the best acting or narrative but its worth seeing for the legendary one liner during the bank scene :D

Got forced to watch it by a work mate and loved it
Watched 'Revolver' last night..not the greatest film..the first half was okay, but the second half was just pretentious tripe. Not my cup of tea. 4/10
I saw Seven Psychopaths last night. Top film with a top cast - Woody Harrelson, Colin Farrell, Christopher Walken, to name but a few. It's from the same guy that directed In Bruges, which itself was a pretty good flick. Anyway, it's a film about a struggling writer (Colin Farrell) who is trying to think of seven psychopaths for his book. Strangely enough, inspiration comes in the shape of some people he meets.
It's a great film, very funny, lots of blood, guns, gangsters, etc. Almost like a Tarantino film but with more action.
EDIT: It opens on December 5th. I was lucky enough to see it at the Leeds International Film Festival.
Watched contraband. Really was rubbish, plot holes, twists you could spot a mile off etc.

Skyfall - generally enjoyable with a few telegraphed moments, and some schoolboy error IT moments...
