Anchorman 2 - had high hopes for it, there were a couple of funny moments but I fell asleep through boredom about 3/4 of the way in. Story was patchy and totally didn't deserve all the hype it got. Will watch the last half an hour tonight, but not looking forward to it..

Update: Got worse. Can't recommend it even if you're a fan of the first.

Watched Rambo the other night (the recent one, not the original Rambo: First Blood). Although not mentally taxing, I found it surprisingly enjoyable. I think being massively desensitised to violence helped though.

Last film i watched was Avatar in 3D

If you can watch it in 3d then id highly suggest it, it adds a whole new atmosphere onto the already amazing film!

Watched "Lockout" and "This is the end", they were okay, wouldn't watch them again though.

Still angry about how bad Anchorman 2 was.

    Another Earth

If you can keep yourself from twitching at the bad science, there's a real gem of a movie there. Well acted and quite absorbing. I thought the two leads, Brit Marling and William Mapother, were excellent.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

I watched Tyrannosaur at the weekend. It's directed by Paddy Considine, and stars Eddie Marsan, Peter Mullan and Olivia Colman.

Top notch film, if a bit dark. Olivia Colman is fast becoming my favourite actress. Which is handy, cos she's in everything these days...

    Desolation of Smaug.

A bit too much Legolas extreme elfing....especially as I do not remember him in the book...

    Next Goal Wins

8/10 for me. If you like football then it's a no brainer..really interesting, occasionally funny and it gives you a good insight into football and the way it can take over people's lives.
