I've watched the entire thing twice now, once live on TV, and the other with my girlfriend when she learned what it was about after raising her nose at it.

^ I'm going to make mine watch it to...
Halfway through S3 and still not impressed.
It's very well acted, but I just don't find myself desperately engaged with the characters, or anything.
I usually get well into films and shows, suspending my disbelief to the point where I don't guess the plot and get happily surprised by all the twists (unless I overhear some git at work spoiling the plot of, say, Game Of Thrones).
But with BB, I can see most things coming, sometimes even several episodes ahead...
I found it to be too much of a roller-coaster ride. Ups and downs, scary bits and boring bits.
Still have the last 2 seasons to watch and have had them sat there to watch for quite some time, I am starting to doubt that I will finish it, especially when I'll watch things like Forever and Masterchef before turning to BB episodes!
Bit of a shame as IMO it had the best opener of any series I have ever watched. I have also found BCS to be more of the same and have episodes of that backing up as well now.
Also hasn't helped that Aaron Paul has been popping up in other stuff and looking completely out of his depth.

Forgot all about this...
I got bored of seeing where everything was going a half-season in advance and stopped watching.
Sorry.
It is very enjoyable.
I would also recommend:
The Unit
24
Gotham
Prison Break
Just to name a few
Up there in my top 3 with The Sopranos and Game of Thrones. Stirling stuff.
I'm ashamed to say that I could never get into this series. It's just one of life's many mysteries.
Anyone see this family guy?
Just saying...

Nice find! I remember that. It's all I heard about in work for awhile. "Did you see the last episode of breaking bad!?" blah blah
season 1 was hard to watch, I stopped watching about 5 times.
Season 2 took off though and it grew and grew from there.
The only 2 shows that i thought were better (except the final seasons) were Lost and Prison break.
Lost was OK but the story did go a little weird for my liking. I thought the series started great and went downhill from there. Since I watched so many episodes, I had to see the end.
I've watched the entire show twice, once up to S4, then again before S5 released as I was super hyped. The directing and cinematography is truly unparalleled.
I started watching it, got up to series 2 and never got round to continue watching it.
Started watching breaking bad but stoped on season 3 :-) its great and ill continue when have more time
