    Fringe

I am a bit late to the party, but has anyone watched Fringe? I am hooked on it

It's like X Files but parallel worlds and more weirder things that happen

I used to watch it all the time but kind of lost interest at the start of season 4.

Walter is an awesome character though

    Re: Fringe

I got bored with the plot halfway through Season 2, I think. I won't spoil it, but I watched and thought, "Really?? You're doing this old cliche again?".

I am beginning to think I need to filter out episodes to only watch the ones that have SciFi or alien elements. Monster episodes don't impress me

I accidentally stumbled upon it and was glad I did

It started off well, but I got bored after three seasons.

A real shame, as I had high hopes for it, but it just seemed to lose it's way.

    Re: Fringe

Do yourself a favour and stop at the end of season 3. if you've bought the box set destroy season 4 so you aren't tempted to watch it. Like essentially everything JJ abrams has ever done, its a decent story with an ending so bad it ruins 4 series.

Yes, the early seasons were great - the last season you're best off skipping - it really ruined it for me tbh

    Re: Fringe

I kinda hated it to start with an persevered through the first season but after that I thought it just kept getting better and better. The last season was a bit weird but I still loved it.

    Re: Fringe

    Season 1, 2 and 3 were great.
Season 4 seemed meh. There were no cliffhangar episodes or events. It seemed we saw more of worlds 1.1 and 2.1 and then a few episodes of a future version of either 1.1 or 2.1 !?

Season 5. I struggled to deal with the bs that the Observers had taken over the world. I skipped all the episodes and just watched the last one.

    Re: Fringe

I'm fairly sure I watched every episode of it, usually a couple days after the US showing. It's always sad to see a series end, but it must end or else it'll kill itself. Though i do feel they wrapped up very rapidly, after dithering. Also the last season is somewhat jammed in there, and save for the link episode in the previous season, makes no sense.

I enjoyed it all. I didn't find any of it confusing at all. Then again some people found Inception confusing.
