    Top Gear S24

Just watched the first episode of the new series of Top Gear, and it was WAY better than the last one with Chris Evans.

In fact, I think it was better than any episode of the Grand Tour - which ultimately was a bit of an empty disappointment.

It's very car-focused, and they've got decent cars. Someone there still has good links.
They've got the old track back
The celebrity bit has been cut down massively, closer to the old style
The "Feature/adventure" in Kazahkstan was good - interesting location and very well filmed.
The presenters have a little bit of rapport now

The only bit that I think needs work is Chris Harris - he's very awkward, and just seems to be trying to put everyone down all the time.

I watched it, it was OK. They don't seem to know what they're doing with the celeb though, getting them to hang around for the whole show.

I agree on Grand Tour - I only watched the 1st 2 or 3, couldn't be bothered after that.

Hmm, might watch an episode. Didn't watch any of the last series because of the CE factor - the trailers put me off, andI can't get Amazon, so I can't comment on that - suffice it to say, it doesn't interest me enough to even want to trial Amazon prime, or whatever you have to do to get it.

I was pleasantly surprised. A lot better than the Chris Evans Failure Show. GT is still better, despite it's weaknesses.
