my personal favourite films
the last samurai the war of the worlds orignal and remake dune black hawk down apocalypse now ghost dog way of the samurai i'm sure everyone will say these are terrible but each one is good for its own reasons |

Its such an individual thing...but I quite like Good Fellas as an alternative to the Godfather...I love a film called "Big Fish" for its quirky sentimentality....Forrest Gump..for it being able to keep my interest over a relatively long time...the ones mentionned are clearly worthy of that too

Master And Commander (great fun all the way through) Cross Of Iron (great anti-war movie) The Card (Alec Guinness, don't make 'em like that anymore!) Groundhog Day (Great feel good movie) Lord Of The Rings Trilogy Contact Way Out West (Laurel And Hardy say no more) Goodfellas Thinking of some more now.. |
