Anime, who's watching what?
Who's watching what anime at the mo then? Currently going thro vol3 of Ergo Proxy. Liking it a lot, reminds me somewhat of Ghost in the Shell. Also just finished Serial Experiments: Lain, Samuri Champloo, Kurau and Berserk.
Plus it's cool Sky have an anime channel too ![]() |

Re: Anime, who's watching what?
Ergo Proxy's pretty cool, watched it all in a couple of nights.
I've just finished Darker than Black, Black Lagoon, Zegapain, and Code Geass Season 1. Out of them all I'd recommend definately recommend Darker than Black and Code Geass as they're good from beginning to start, the other 2 turned out enjoyable. Although Black Lagoon's probably got the feistiest female character in recent years in Anime that's not a teenager. ;-) I was originally going to say since Asuka in Neon Genesis Evangelion Black Lagoon's got clear Eastern/Western influences on action scenes, characters and plots, so it's nothing new, but still good. Also just finished Read or Die, but that was through taking a break and wasn't really as great everyone recommended it to be. In a bit of a stump as to watch next, think it's Metal Armor Dragonar, but I have Cowboy Bebop, Berserk, Vampire Princess Miyu, Boogiepop, Record of Lodoss War, and several others at my disposal as well.... |

I are. I are gone bought Akira again cause i lost it. So I bought some Hayao Miyazaki stuff while I was there. And I started watching the Anime channel on Sky a while back. So I'm always open to suggestions.

Re: Anime, who's watching what?
Not watching much anime lately, but Macross Frontier is coming soon (April I believe) which will probably be the anime of the year
(Episode 1 preview is awesome)For 2007 my favourite would be Code Geass ![]() |

Re: Anime, who's watching what?
I haven't done this - but what I'd really like to have chance to do .... is to watch some UK version Battle Of the Planets - and compare to the original Gatchaman episodes :-)

Haven't had the chance to watch Ergo Proxy yet or Code Geass. But I can recommend Claymore. I've not finished watching that yet, but it's probably my favourite anime released in 2007.

But Bleach is my fave anime at the moment. However, the live action version of Cutie Honey (funnily enough called Cutie Honey The Live) is the best program on TV!!! ![]() |

Gundam Seed on AC, recording Planetes for future viewing. Naruto: Shippuden, Bleach and Gundam 00 otherwise. I just got Sky Blue in the post.
I really need a better DVD/Manga storage system. |

Re: Anime, who's watching what?
Ah, still on Naruto and Bleach. (Sycthe have a new cooler called Orochi!)
Saw an episode of Deathnote last week, seemed quite good. Afro Samurai was alright. Has anyone seen GoldenBoy? It's soo funny! |

Re: Anime, who's watching what?
Death Note's terrific. There's been a couple of live action Death Note movies too. One's just come out in Japan called something like "L Save The World", but it's supposed to be the weakest of the movies
