Polyphonic Spree - Light & Day (Off the Sainsburys ads) Blues Brothers - Everybody needs Somebody (To Love) Those are the main ones lately, got back into Puressence also their album Only Forever is awesome. Then its my usual stuff like Madness and The Jam which I always listen to, especially Private Hell by The Jam, awesome track1 |

Just finished listening to "Damnation" by Opeth, yup thats a death metal band but! its an odd album its not a metal one its more like 70s prog, somewhat a kin to Camel or Barclay James Harvest or some such. Very good I recomend.
"Nil Recurring" - Porcupine Tree (EP) is on repeat this week particularly track 2 "Normal". PT rock!

Soundgarden - Superunknown
I recommend this album to absolutely anyone with an interest in rock music, it's a 16 song masterpiece. I've always said Soundgarden are the most criminally underated band of all-time so, as their best album, I guess this is the most criminally underated album of all time! I'm glad Chris Cornell has started to get more publicity in his solo career, but it's late 80's / early 90's Soundgarden where my heart truly lies. Seriously try and take a listen to this album if you can. |
