The thought of the film and the trailer just makes me cringe for some reason...I get the feeling it's not a good film, but I'd like to be proven wrong.

It was 'ok'. Wasn't great wasn't poor. Independance Day is better.

Are we too stupid to understand whats going on that they had to have a narrator?
"I'm an epic thus narration is required. I'm self important!"

Apart from a few niggles it's a decent popcorn flick. Go see Jumper instead.

i have seen jumper, great special effects but there was no story line lol it was just about what a jumper is, who's after them and then that was it! it was ok if you dont expect anything appart from effects

But wasn't jumper better than 10,000 BC? I thought so.

They both sound like utter crap.....They might be suited for the big screen, but I'll wait until they come out on Sky. I refuse to reward film studios for lazy film making

    Indeed.

And in HD at home is soo much easier than going to the movies

    Re: 10,000 bc

Saw 10,000 BC last night with gf, and tbh it was a little slow. I was expecting/hoping for alot of wild animals and them fighting them off, which they did a little. Waaaaayy to much walking in the film and the acting was pretty bad lol. Some good spots, and regardless of the acting it wasnt THAT bad

Think I'll see this one on BluRay. Trailer didn't look bad, but didn't blow me away.
See on the rottentomatoes review site it got a rating of 3.3/10.
