    The Incredible Hulk (2008)

    Link to official website
    Link to IMDB page

Did you guys happen to catch the trailer for this one last week? I was away and didn't see it until yesterday but having seen it, I'm liking what I see!

If you haven't seen it yet, it's on the official website. I like how the first two minutes are so reveal very little and you don't get to see the Hulk or the Abomination until closer to the end of the trailer.

Hulk looks very much like Ang Lee's Hulk, which I don't mind at all. I actually really enjoyed Ang Lee's movie depite all the complaints about it being 'too slow'.

I'm a bit of a superhero nut I must admit, but Incredible Hulk looks to be shaping up very nicely and Norton looks as though he fits right in as Banner.

...effects are nice...just seems like it's setting itself up for failure in terms of being a good movie to watch.

The first film really was forgetful...awful.

I find transitions of graphic novels to movies tend to get diluted and you lose the essence of the graphic novel.

But that is a personal opinion, as reading the graphic novels you create your own biased version of how you imagine the hulk (or any other graphic novel character) to move, talk, speak, interact.

considering how crappy hulk 2003 was, i am hoping this would be much better and after watching the trailer i am a bit excited but not gonna get my hopes up. then again ang lee (in my opinion) aint the best director so lets see what this guy can do.

by the way the last fight scene in the trailer is on younge street, toronto (i've been there) hehehehe, they always film holywood movies in canada cuz they are much cheaper.

Question: is this a sequel to the previous one? I don't mind as that wasn't complete pants... but it was certainly approaching a pair of long legged shorts at times...

The note about Tony Stark appearing as a Cameo character is rather good...

David, this new movie was originally penned as a loose sequel to the 2003 one. However, that changed when Norton was cast as Banner. He apparently revised the script and took out any references to the 2003 film.

This one is said to tie in better with the comics and TV series, apparently!

Well as long as it's good entertainment, plenty action & explosive special effects, I'll be happy.

It's not an origin story as far as I can tell, he's already the Hulk and on the run from Ross and his Hulkbusters.
