Lloyds TSB music, Eliza's Aria, do you love it or hate it?

You've probably all heard the music in Lloyds TSB's "For the Journey" advertisements. Question is, do you love it or hate it?

As far as I'm aware, and with a little help from Google, the track itself is Eliza's Aria by Elena Kats-Chernin.

Personally, I find it really beautiful and love seeing the advertisements! The music is almost haunting, it seems really sad with just a touch of hope.

Thoughts on the music? If you've not heard it, here it is in the ad: YouTube - Lloyds TSB for the journey advert

I like it personally, aswell as the recent single - The Journey Continues.

There is something about the vocals that I can't put my finger on, but really, really works.

Love it... especially the remixes, but then I've always been a fan of that kinda bootleg...

    (Adagio for strings anyone?!)

    yeah, brilliant adverts.

I love the style of animation too.

Not keen on that single though. The stop motion iniation of live action is prett cool thogh.

Adagio for strings is an absolute classic, both in the original form (how Barber intended) and as a remix. The latter gets my vote, but I'm not averse to the original either

One of the nicer adverts on TV.

I cant say I love it, but it certainly is more on the positive side of the scale.

Sorry, it annoys the hell out of me. Barber's Adagio, yes. Vaughan Williams, yes. Elgar, yes. Respighi, yes. Rachmaninov, yes. Puccini, yes. But if I were locked in a room with the person responsible for that annoying warbling piece of nonsense and a chainsaw, well...I think I could guarantee a sudden and temporary loss of control...

I thought I'd ask cause my brother can't stand it either!

Me on the other hand, I've been listening to the song for the most part of the day.

Well to be fair it was only for as long as it took to get the song out of my head. Same applies to my current one - the I Am Weasel theme tune
