Nine Inch Nails - The Slip

    nin.com [download]- the slip

Download the whole album free and direct from NiN. No DRM applied.

    They have four downloads available:

    high-quality MP3s (87 mb)
will play in any MP3 player. encoded with LAME at V0, fully tagged.
    recommended for most users.

    FLAC lossless (259 mb)
CD quality - will not play in itunes or many other popular media players.
    recommended only for advanced users.

    M4A apple lossless (263 mb)
CD quality - will play in itunes.
    recommended only for advanced users.

    better-than-CD-quality 24bit 96kHz audio
    for advanced audiophiles only!
although you will be able to play these files with most players that support WAVE format, you will not get any benefits from the higher resolution audio unless you have extremely high-end audio equipment. if you're not familiar with 24/96 audio, this download is not recommended.

    Thoughts?

I'm downloading right now (never knew Opera had a built in torrent client, nice!

I'm not a NiN fan, but i'm grabbing the FLAC and 24/96 WAVs just to play around with. I don't have any other high resolution audio so I figured it would be a legal way to get some source material to throw at my SqueezeBoxes to test software/firmware.

    I grabbed all four downloads

The torrents took a while to get going, but completed over night. Not had a chance to listen yet.
