 |  Movie/DVD Recomendations 13 Tzameti, is, imo a masterpice of cinematography. Forget that it's French, and in Black & White, it's just .... a superbly shot movie, brilliantly original, atmospheric, moody and moving. Loved it! Casshern...well, crioes, what is this all about. So many great movie pastiches, everything from 1984 to Dr. Strangelove, to Metropolis, all done with an incredibly stylish eastern flare. My not be everyone's cup of tea, and fans of the Animé may well hate it, but it just sorta works, in a wierd disjointed fashion. Might take a couple of watches this one. Tonight it's Akira Kurosawa's Rashomon & also Mongol (The Rise To Power Of Genghis Khan) yay for Play's bargain basement   So who's watching & recomending what?   then THIS, THIS and THIS ..Sig Sizes(\__/) (='.'=) (")_(") "Never look down on your fellow man, unless you're helping them up" |

| Re: Movie/DVD Recomendations i am gonna sit and watch deathrace this evening while nowhere near as intellectual as your films it should be good fun watched pineapple express a few days ago that was pretty good also got THE NINES to watch haven't got a clue what it's about but a mate said i could borrow that or some film with lindsay "cokenose" lohan in getting her boobs out and that girl just don't do it for me.   |
