3.50 for a regular watered down coke - Your having a bleeding laugh ain't you Vue and Cineworld? I can get 2L bottles cheaper than that and don't get me started on the price of the popcorn and other treats.

Taking the Mrs and 2 of the older kids she has to the cinema is really expensive for me at the moment, you can imagine by the time tickets, popcorn and drinks are purchased I've been fleeced of about 30-40 pounds.

Maybe the cinemas need to adjust their prices as I know the price of drinks etc scares a lot of people from the cinema due to being absolutely rubbish value for money.

I've been told previously that it's the only place they actually generate any profit, in which case I imagine nothing will ever change.

Up is one of the best animated films I've seen this year and the 3D effects are truely stunning.

I reckon only avatar is going to knock my socks off with it's 3D effects, but time will tell.

when we were there, at "peak" time ie Sunday early evening... it was empty.

Maybe 10% of the spaces taken... could sit anywhere we liked it was so empty.
