    Your favourite OST

Watched 'Girl Next Door' last night (dont hate me for it!it was actually quite good....in a manly 'that-elisha-is-hot-hot-hot kinda way'), and at the end of the film a tune caught my ear..one that was exceptionally good and well suited for that part of the film. The song was The Who - Baba O'Riley, but that's by-the-by. Anyways, it got me thinking about movie OSTs and what have been some of my favourites. Well, i'll tease you no longer, my votes go to..

    Girl Next Door
Kevin & Perry Go Large (for some top dance tunes)
    Human Traffic (as above)
Lord of the Rings (stunningly crafted music that suits the setting so pefectly)
    Lost in Translation

I'm sure i've missed many out! How about you lot? Anything memorable for you?

I liked the Last Samurai actually...

There are loads though. Quite a lot of films i like the soundtrack more than the film itself.

It depends if your going for original composistion, if so thats a hard task, films like Requim for a Dream have awsome sound track. But i couldn't choose a favourate.

OST collection of non-specailly composed songs, probably have to be something like Hackers, or even Life Aquatic.

Not from a movie, but the sound tracks from Final Fantasy are quite well made.

I have to say I like the Amageddon OST, as "Don't wanna miss a thing" Rocks big style.
And the soundtrack to Spy Hard, with the Wierd Al Theme Tune hehe.

QFT I loved the songs in that movie (and the Elisha even more ) so I agree with you there... what about the song Filter - Take a Picture, one of the best songs from the movie

Actually I don't really listen to much OST's - if any... I loved the Final Fantasy 8 one, lol its still an OST
