I was never a fan of Tool until Lateralus which I bought on the strength of the artwork, and discoverd it a great album. As such, was really happy to hear they working as Tool again.
Haven't heard the new song as yet, but good to hear it's along the same lines as Lateralus - no real surprise as it's the only Tool that's been done since then. Looking forward to hearing it & the new album soon - they're touring shortly too. |

personally i much prefer the opiate/undertow kind of stuff, but i havent heard this yet. as long as its not perfect circle by another name, they were entirely a candidate for worst follow up album in the history of music

Bought the album yesterday, and it has the best artwork I have ever seen with a CD.
EDIT: Obviously, the album is fantastic itself ![]() Lenses to look at the booklet through, so you see really creepy 3D images, here is a pic: |
