    new lostprophets album

    Anyone else got/heard this yet?

Went out today to buy it, having loved the first 2 albums and.....what a let down.

They have changed completely - this sounds more like a combination of Hard-Fi and FFAF than lostprophets

It's totally a pop/indie record now with a bit of real guitar work thrown in there...sucks compared to their first few albums. Granted there are still a couple of good tracks on there, but still..you have to hear it to see what I mean I guess.

    i'm dissapointed

Generally feel the same, loved the first two albums, finding it quite hard to get into any of this album other than Rooftops which is annoyingly catchy and sticks in your head all day if it's the last thing you heard before you left the house!

After listening to it a bit more there are a couple of good tracks - Everyday Combat has really grown on me, and rooftops...well it's a pop song which is why it sticks in your head, still sounds like an S-Club 7 song to me tho...

My mate at work have been banging on about how rubbish this album is compared to the other's they have done. I think they have got to the stage were they just want to make some decent dosh.
