    The Warehouse Project

    As many of you Mancunian's might have seen - there's various posters about with little information about something called the "warehouse project"

    On the grapevine I've heard to that to celebrate 20 years of dance music and the birth, there's going to be quite a lot of "rave's" in "warehouses" held.

    Well, so far I've managed to dig up the following information about DJ's and the location ;

    Lawler Fri 24th Nov
    Zabiela Fri 1st Dec
    Sasha Fri 8th Dec

    All at Boddingtons Brewery Manchester

    Wicked or what ... and seeing as my birthday's on the 23rd Nov it's damn bloody great timing

    Oh Scan.... can I book 8 weeks off please as I'm going praying to the lords of dance music

    Lee

    Nice idea for the 'young 'uns' who missed it the first time around. I like things a bit more chilled these days. Would not mind catching some of it though

    Slightly OT, but my sister is at Global Gathering this weekend. I was listening to it on Radio One on the way back from work last night. Funny how the dance music goes around in circles. It was supposed be the lastest cutting-edge hard house, but it just sounds exactly like the techno i was listening to 10 years ago, with maybe a slighly more funky edge and uptodate production.

    Not that thats bad thing mind, i did love it (and still do really). But it does amuse me when some teenager goes, "Listen to this new stuff man, you have never heard anything like this!". I feel like saying "I was dancing my tits off to that before your Saxo was even invented mate". But i don't. I'm starting to feel old now!!!

    I feel for you mate, unfortunately it seems to be the case everywhere you go now. my local club seems fine until the "dance hour" is over then the rnb and hip hop comes on and well.. it all goes downhill with chavs

    You need to get away from M2 and Piccadilly 21's then and go to places like North, South, Bar one Central, ampersand, Sankey's, Pheonix, Music box and various other places for the real dance and trance scene.

    Best place to look what's on at the weekend is generally themanchesteronline website or even the GO! pullout in the middle of the MEN on a Friday

    North has had some really good nights recently
