I'm on Virgin 152 but "only" ever get around 90-100mbps on various different test sites. Currently connected to the SuperHub in modem mode using a DIR-615 router (wired). Wondering what the problem may be...

DIR-615 has 10/100 Ethernet ports, not Gigabit - that's your problem.

Try connecting directly into the superhub, mine drops to high 90s going through a gigabit switch before the PC.

That shouldn't happen - it sounds like something is negotiating at 100Mb instead of GigE, check the lights which should show the link speed. If so, try another cable/port.

Yeah I thought it was only 10/100 for the Wireless but you are right. The light on the superhub port was orange connected to the DIR-615 and is now green directly into the PC.

i still cant get fibre yet they keep dropping the date back each time its been dropped back 3 times now in the past 2 years my street no longer has a date when it will reach here so for now im on adsl

Well, I'm with virgin and on the 100Mb package so I'm sure mine is going to be the same as a lot of other users so here it is.



It's unfortunate that the upload speeds are so weak with Virgin, I wish I could have more than 6Mb up!
