is it possible to link to load balance to wifi networks? in vmware or windows

just wondering if this is possible as i have several wifi usb sticks and card and wondered if it would be possible to run a load balancing program like pfsense or wingate in vmware

or run them on the host machine using wingate or similar software ? im feeling experimental again

I don't know - but if you are feeling experimental... just try it - and let us know the result!

Are you thinking if using 2 WAPs as well? One of the issues you will have is VMware and the wireless cards.

You won't be able to trunk them, of that I'm almost certain.

The only way I could see it working is if you were providing a point-to-point link and you had some load balancing happening at both ends. But, as I said, it probably won't aggregate over the link, so there'll only be a benefit for multiple connections - fastest single connection would still be the rate of a single link.
