    Driving me mad...

    Clean Windows XP Install
    SP1 Included
    Windows update run, all downloaded

    Prior to running Windows Update i could connect to my WiFi router, however since then I can't.....

    I tried reinstalling the drivers, the device SEEs the network just can't connect... Even if I say 'ignore WAP etc'

    Is there another file I need from the MS site - if so which one?


    someone help - I am using my laptop on the wireless currently and it works fine...

    What happens is windows can see the network, the device works and it gives the 'Windows Sees a number of wifi networks please click to connect to one' I then click it - say ignore WEP and it wont connect. The exact way I have always connected to a wifi netowrk

    Any ideas guys? The Wirelless Network Connection bubble makes me want to scream.

    i heard something about that, and you have to uninstall an update to ie, its number 8******* (something), and that should fix it
