Community ISP

I'm getting involved in wiring up our local town for Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC). We're putting together a business case for a grant from Kent County Council, and I'm looking for some cabling firms to provide some quotes, industry knowledge and essential knowledge.

Can anyone recommend one ? Or even better, has anyone looked into community ISPs etc ?

Are you planning on building and running the ISP yourselves or white labelling someone else's service or don't you know yet? Cabling although important is a very small part of running a fully fledged ISP. If you can let me know what you're actually trying to achieve i.e. what's your vision for this project once complete then I can probably help and/or point you in the right direction (I'm a network engineer for an ISP so have lots of experience in this sort of thing).
