What Brand of Home Networking Hardware Do You Trust?

This is a quick little survey to see which manufacturer of network hardware you would use time and time again, the kit you know you can buy without even needing to read reviews to see if it's good.

Don't think I've forgotten any major ones To qualify the manufacturer needs to make everything needed to make a simple home network, such as routers, WiFi or ethernet cards, access points or switches etc.

D Link kit is cheap but can be nasty - buffalo is great if you run everything with buffalo

For routers I'd rather have draytek ( or failing that Netgear )

3com, Netgear and of course Buffalo.

    3com
    -------
Dispite actualy having problems with one model of switch at work (one and only problem) 3com still make about the best performance nic cards on earth.

    Netgear
    ---------
Make lovley switches and very good wifi nic's (access points could be better).

    Buffalo
    --------
They pretty much are wifi personified

Linksys..... From personal experience id have to say.... Not if you paid me a shat load of cash

ph33r my toothbrush, for it is made of SCROTANIUM

netgear FS range of switches -> best ive ever had. belkin make good cables when ive run outta crimps n my own , 3com make good NIC's, same with netgear.. my realtek ones always seem to break

er, if your northbridge fan is humming loudly, disconnect it. _dont_ kick the side of the case, it _will_ break it.
    i know :/

Voted 3com, as my P4P800 has gigabit 3com lan. Have a D-Link DI-604 but its plain poo and gives random disconnects

Voted for 3Com, but I'd trust their gear, Linksys, maybe SMC but not so much after my Barricade router bought the farm. D-Link for wired stuff (I still have an 804V router kicking around, very solid) but not for wireless.

3com are the daddies of networking.
    Buffalo do great wireless.
belkin? Never forgiven for their Spamming router.
Dlink - Had some bad experiences, when is a modem not a modem? When it's Dlink modem.
Linksys - Can't comment, as I've never used, but not heard many bad things about them.
Netgear - No major issues here.
SMC - Haven't used since my trusty old 7004 barricade router, still going strong some 3 years on!
Speedtouch - Never forgiven for the frog.
