I had a 1mb from Blueyonder and it did suck the big one for the first two months, then magically came to life!
Well worth it.
Reminds me... my girlfriend is getting a 10mbps connection in her apartment next month, while a friend is waiting on his VDSL 26mbps connection before Christmas... this is, of course, in Sweden.
Bah.
Their entire population of their country is less than Greater Manchester too, bah!
Here's me with a 512k ADSL connection
~ I have CDO. It's like OCD except the letters are in alphabetical order, as they should be. ~
PC: Win10 x64 | Asus Maximus VIII | Core i7-6700K | 16GB DDR3 | 2x250GB SSD | 500GB SSD | 2TB SATA-300 | GeForce GTX1080

Beer is life, life is good!
I know NTL provide a 34mbit connection. I had to do sum research on it for a project, if i remember correctly installation was suttin like $5000 plus £1xx,xxx a year. But its symmetric if thats any help to ya.
At home im on 2mbit ADSL, not bad at all
As soon as NTL releases a 2MB line I will be on it
Pah, fear the 100mbps connection I had at uni. Often noone using my switch and minimal users onto the gigabit fibre across the uni.
That musta terrorised your hard drive.
Well, I had to scrape together the finances for a new 120gb drive earlier this week after getting sick to death of writing CDRs Shame all filesharing was blocked though, as were most games. Enemy Territory worked, but it was a shame that it coincided with my Finals. Enemy Territory won
Yep, you just can't beat JANET (academic backbone in the UK) - I've had some terrifyingly fast downloads, especially when the steowdants are away. They're back soon
Thank you for registering for the blueyonder 2Mb service. Your order has been received.
It will take up to 24 hours to process your order, and you will then be informed by email when your account has been updated.
YIPEEE
just upgraded from 512k for 1mb, its brilliant can have several large downloads going, and still get em quicker than getting one of 512k
Stop complaining...im on 56k V.92 (sorry but V.92 is important to me)
LOL
Yeah true ... when I was living on the uni campus, I had some fantastic download speed thanks to JANET ... wow... sweet memories ... LOL Now stuck to adsl 512k
