    Best ASDL Router for gaming??

Hi, whats the best router for gaming, that's a sensible price that is?

I currently use a NetGear DG834G v5 or a Huawei HG533, both seem crap, the NETGEAR one seems a bit better.

I think it would depend on your connection.
For instance, my Billion is excellent on weaker ADSL signals i.e. from further away from the exchange. So different routers offer different compromises of raw speed vs reliability. What's your normal download speed ?

there pricey but you can't beat a DrayTek vigor rock solid all day every day ..

So you're very close to the exchange. I'd be googling for routers on their raw speed numbers.

AC is a new technology so no doubt be pricey and hard to find; wouldn't 802.11N be sufficient for your requirements?

Technicolor get a bad rap because the GUI is deliberately limited so end users cant tinker with the settings and lose their service. But if you can navigate the telnet CLI you can pretty much do anything.

The TG582n is a great and cheap device that from my experience gives a great sync speed.
Setting most things requires you to use the CLI, which can be daunting. But once you get the hang of it, you wont want to go to another device.
