    If gaming is a big issue then I'd suggest checking on the game specific forums if there are issues with any specific ISP.

    I know than in my clan on world of tanks we regularly see all the virgin people suffer problems at once.

    unless you have a specific hardware need, id stick with the hh5. it syncs at the best possible speed, the wireless range and speed is great (AC after all), however draytek do some modem routers for vdsl (the 2850 and 2860 and 2750 i think. I have a 2850 and its as fast as the hh5, but the wireless is shocking. i do however run seperate ap's so thats not an issue.

    Sky and Bt fibre is practical the same (on paper) i have Bt infinity and my speed are pretty good

    i agree the hh5 is a decent router.
