No experience with this particular bit of kit, but I have played with an SMC access point and matching WLAN adapters (PCI and USB) and they were bloody awful.
AP kept restarting itself for no apparent reason, client supplicant software on 2000 is terrible to configure and requires a mouse, but once connected with no encryption they seemed okay - maybe it was WEP/WPA that made the AP unhappy.
And it didn't have a DHCP server built in.
A shame really, as I heard SMC Barricade firewalls are supposed to be kind of good, so I had expectations for it.
