I switched from Sky to Plusnet and didn't have to touch my router (Skyhub)

Isn't that a bit weird? The Skyhub is still plugged in as it has been for a year, phone line etc has switched.

Do I even need to switch routers?? I thought my broadband would stop working, signalling to me to switch routers, but it's been a couple of weeks and no change.

Have you signed in to your Plusnet account on your router? If not then something's awry.

Nope, literally have not touched the router, not logged into it, nothing

Are you on an LLU exchange?

Edit: Also, an outbound traceroute could be helpful in figuring out what's going on.

From what you've said it sounds as if you're still on Sky. I'm with Plusnet and when I changed my broadband to them I had to enter my login details on my router. Additionally AFAIK, Sky routers only work with Sky broadband.

Check what your public IP address is (there's any number of sites to check that with) and plonk the ip into http://tools.whois.net/whoisbyip/ - that should give you an idea as to who is providing your connectivity.

To find out if your exchange has Sky LLU, you could use this site: http://www.samknows.com/exchange_search

However the DNS servers in your screenshot are Sky operated; it does appear you're still connecting to Sky, not Plusnet. Also, looking at the WAN uptime, it's not reconnected in a good few weeks.

If you're on non-LLU Sky, it's possible Sky have just left your BRAS login active, perhaps until the end of your bill term, for instance.

If you are on LLU, it would seem your line has not been moved from the Sky DSLAM to the BTW one.
