ALERT: Some TalkTalk supplied modems have been hacked

Link to the news source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-38167453

I had this issue myself as I used the D-Link 3780, and I've had to swap to a backup, as every time I booted it up, even after resetting, the login for the router got changed instantly, and I had an awful connection speed. So watch out! Swapped over to my trusty Netgear for now (it doesn't have wireless, but at least it hasn't been hacked.... yet)

And the crooks would have gotten away with it if they hadn't saturated links to cause a slowdown.

... assumine they did it for DDoS botnet reasons & screwed up their code.
