USB 3G/4G modem, ASUS router and DDNS

    Hi,

Now, as per the title, is there a way to do this?

I have a ASUS router, I've managed to connect a mobile phone to it for now and I've managed to route the connection using the mobile phone's USB tethering. In the future the mobile phone will be replaced by a 3G/4G mobile modem.

I've had stable internet connection via the router (while using the mobile phone as the gateway).

I've setup a no-ip DDNS account too and the router reported that it got registered.

Will my plan work, or do I have to make some changes to it?

As far as I know Dynamic DNS doesn't require anything in particular from your internet connection, so as long as you can get connected then what would the hurdle be?
