Did you have it connected to the internet before?

Make sure the VLAN tag is set to 101 if you are connecting directly to a VDSL line.

If you did the initial set up wirelessly and now can't connect to the router, use a wired connection following the instructions in the manual.

Re: asus dsl ac88u set up with bt

DHCP is what gives network information including IP addresses out automatically so there is a good chance none of your devices are getting the information they need from the router.

The safest bet for now, if this is a new installation would be to reset the router (there will be a pin hole on the back along the row of ports hold this for 10 seconds or so while powered on) and start over again.

The other option is to manually set your network settings in Windows, these devices always run on the IP address of 192.168.1.1 out of the box, configuring your computer to the same subnet should allow you access. I can explaing the settings to do it this way if you you know how to change windows network settings.

However, I'd definitely start by resetting the devices as something has gone wrong somewhere and it could be just as difficult to diagnose the setting then it would be to reconfiugure the device after a reset.

Re: asus dsl ac88u set up with bt

Did you consider keeping the BT router/modem for now and just use the ASUS router for everything else? You could provide the ASUS router with a connection from the BT router/modem via the ASUS WAN port.

I apologise, if this was already suggested and I've missed it in the thread
