| So what happens after MAC code? I'm thinking of moving to another ISP, if I do will I have to suffer any downtime? I'm wondering if it's possible to oversubscribe my old ISP for 1 month so I won't have to go without internet or is downtime inevitable? |

| MACs last for 30 days so don't ask for one too early. You get given a 24 hour window i.e. the day of migration. You continue to use your existing ISP up to the day of migration so no need to oversubscribe. |
