DLINK DSL Router - problems with connection
Hi,
I recently bought a DSL604 Dlink adsl woreless router and usb adpater, the router is connecting to the adapter successfully and when I log into the route via the web interface all seems to be working, my adsl connection is up and my connection to the adapter is up and running. The problem is that when I open internet explorer I cant seem to see the web at all, if I use my adsl modem to BT then all is ok but when I try and use the wireless router I cant see the net. I've called Dlink and they conform eberything is working correctly but BT Openworld were no help at all the guy just said Dlink wasn't supported by them and told me to go away Any ideas if theres anything left to test, I do have wireless network showing in network connections snd this is connected as well. I'm a bit lost it all seems to be working but for internet explorer to see the web? any ideas most welcome cheers romanov

Are you using DCHP or are you assigning the IP addresses manually?
Have you tried to connect to the net through the router using a "wired" connection via 1 of the ports at the back. If you can connect using 1 of these, then it looks like the wireless side is configured incorrectly. If you still have this issue tonight - I'll log into my DSL-604T admin panel and take screenies of all the settings for you
