bt voyager 2091 router
the bt voyager 2091 router i have got some times seems to cut out so to make it work again I have to restart my PC , so today i restarted to the router to start with it seemed to be working fine. but then same thing happerned.
any one know of anywhere to get a firmware update for it becasuse on the bt voyager site they dont seem to have one and finaly any other ideas to try? thanks in advance |

Hi,
Are you using the RJ45 connector (network cable) or the USB cable? If using network card does it have "power saving enabled", which switches off the card after a while and can be a pain to turn back on.. I think if there isnt an offical update at the bt voyager site there wouldnt be one worth getting at all.. but thats me.. |

i am using the enternet rj45 cable and the other day i thought i found a firware update leading to the bt site but now i cant find that link

voyager update you might want to copy and paste the link for the 2091...
it says if you are having problems with VPN client which doesnt seem to be the same problems as you have (that could be security issues not dropouts) still if you are having problems and its a newier firmware.. |

I went to the link you you gave me
i went to the right section found my router and it said go to this link i copyed the link and it it came up with random letters what am i doing wrong? |

the link provided is where the routers download the firmware from when they autoupgrade
i don't own one of the routers myself but i would look for the firmware upgrade option on the device and that may be where it needs the url entering |
