| WiFi help needed I'm building myself a whole new computer. I was thinking of getting the Asus P5b D WiFi mobo, for the Wifi Which I will plug my USB modem tooNow, heres the question... If I wanted to connect another computer up, what do I need? Do I need a 40 quid router or do I just need another WiFi Adaptor in the other computer? Thanks |

| You could just use a WiFi Adaptor in the other computer and internet connection sharing, although it is far easier to get a wireless modem\router that way your computer does not have to be on when the other computer wants to access the internet. |

| the other big benefit of a such as the NetGear DG834PN is the hardware firewall. Your computer may be always on, but if it acts as an internet gateway some resources will be used doing this, and what about when you rebuild your machine, or reboot it - other internet access will halt. But the hardware firewall is worth having. Try to make each and every day the best it can be. |

| yeh as above mate, i scrapped by USB modem within hours of aquiring it for a Netgear ADSL modem/router. Its incredibly reliable and very rarely drops, the USB modem was dropping at least once an hour
