    Fairly self explainitory. Anything which doesnt say (xxxx's PC) is mine =D

    The beowulf isn't fully working yet(and I'm never really gonna use it for anything other than to say "look! a beowulf in my cupboard!"). all nodes are P166's (hense why I'll never use it )

    The connection to the internet is 1Mbs ADSL (from CPBB), the wireless is 11Mbs, and the link to louise is 10Mbs. All other links are 100Mbs.

    my network goes like this.

    My PC -> tinternet

    have mucked about with a second pc running linux that I ssh'ed to, and did the remote desktop thing to. but my inernet connection is limited to one mac address and i aint got a router, or a spare eth card <- could crossover with main rig and connection share in theory.

    I get outta this flat in september.. so I will have flatmates and wireless and routers and everything. can't wait tbh

    Paul Adams's system
    New country, new network

    [Edited - diagram updated]

    Once I get round to setting it up, the web server will be authenticating wireless machines through 802.1x using certificates, and the traffic encrypted using MS-CHAPv2 (WPA).
    Shame the laptop only has 802.11b built-in, but I might see if I can get a 802.11g PC Card to slap in there one day, if I can be bothered (and actually find myself using wireless).

    10Mbps Internet connection is shared between 4 wired PCs (3 @ 1Gbps, 1 @ 100Mbps) and a wireless laptop (AP support 54Mbps, but laptop only 11Mbps currently).
    No DMZ set up on the router, just port forwarding for the services I want to expose (VPN & web services basically).

    I guess you really don't want to hear that it costs less than £22 per month then?

    I don't have to think too hard for reasons as to why I left "Broadband Britain"
