Haven't got Visio on this comp. so did it in Win Journal. To make life more exciting I did the cables in their real colours:

Plus old 486-DXs and Amstrads. Tiny = soon to be replaced.

*/Well the colours made my life more exciting

    My 3 min job:

    Nice and descriptive eh?

    Anyhoo...
    Standard 2 Meg BB.
Into IG 1800 router. (With Wireless B)
The switches/server are into the UPS.

    All connected via ethernet.

<<< My PC - See thing on left.
    Flatmates PC - AMD64 / 1GB RAM / 6800GT (possibly another 6800GT shortly)
    Flatmates womans PC - Barton / 1GB RAM / 9600Pro

The Cisco switch syncs time from Strathclyde Uni.
    Common Viri/Trojan ports disabled.
Lots of other tweaks - Although I only know what half of the IOS does.
(And is QUIET!! Swapped out the fans with PAPST's)

Oh, JetDirect for the HP Printer.

Would get pics... But flatmate cannot find his camera and I sorely want one.
In fact - I now know what I want for Christmas!

    X2 2800@2666MHz - 2GB PC3500 LL - 7900GT - 1TB Storage inc RAID5

My network, //Darkstar is the desktop, which now lives in my room.

//Dedalus is my sisters laptop (she loves the name ), both connected to a D-Link DI524, and then to a Voyager 205 for the Interweb connection.

I never realised the DI-524 was *just* a router until it arrived, hence the Voyager 205 remaining.

Network name is 'The_SGC', and I don't think Darkstar is a name that ever appears in Stargate, but its a cool name - so I used it!

"If you're not on the edge, you're taking up too much room!"
