    DHCP running Subnets

    sup y'all

right. First of all, what I'm after.
"If you have a DHCP Server setup with multiple scopes for different subnets (150.150.192.0), How the DHCP server decide who goes on which scope/subnet?" - Is this even possible? - I assume so, as MS DHCP gives you the option to set these up.
    ------------------------------
    The "virtual" enviroment.

    Class B network
SNM: 150.150.192.0 (Will be used by clients and Multiscope)
    Range1: 150.150.64.1 - 150.150.127.254
    Range2: 150.150.128.1 - 150.150.191.254

*DHCP on: 150.150.64.1 (reserved) (active) with a SNM of 255.255.0.0 (so it can see all the network)
    *2 Clients on "Obtain Automatically"
    ---------------------------------
OK, so do I add another IP address to the DHCP server so clients on either SubNet can see it? - I don't know, but that's not the question anyway.
    ----------------------------------

I understand it's pretty messey up there, and correct me if I'm wrong anywhere.

If your talking a proper router environment then I believe it just goes of the origin address of the first router it passed through.
It doesnt need to know the address of the DHCP server as it doesnt have an IP address itself to use TCP/IP communication it broadcasts using BOOTP I think.
