to all those pondering over whether or not its worth doing the extras... TRUST ME it is, im now leveling my lvl 99 hp 9999 onion knights in the ??? cave and there almost godlike. all i need is 1 more onion sword and 1 more onion helm and they will be fully equiped, heres my current party

Luneth lvl 99 - hp 9999 - Onion Knight (front row fighter) <- full onion gear 2 swords.

Arc lvl 99 - hp 9999 - Onion Knight (back row black mage) <- full onion gear 2 shields no weapons.

Refia lvl 99 - hp 9999 - Onion Knight (back row white mage) <- all onion gear except using ribbon, 2 shields no weapons.

Ingus lvl 99 - hp 9999 - Onion Knight (front row fighter) <- full onion gear except using ultima sword and 1 onion sword.

i know they could be all using swords but i like this party, plus i hate having only fighters.

by the way Arc and Refia are close to immortal using this party.

im sticking with this team until they are all job lvl 99 and ive got the last of the onion gear im hunting then im gonna kill the giant, after that im going for all job lvls 99 and the job cards + legendary job equipment.
