is it me or cant you do that already. If i wan to shoot, but then move diagonaly backwards as thats where the exit is then i just have to aim at the enemies (without locking on) and then pull diagonnaly back on the analogue stick.

Or do you mean something else?

    Re: Metroid Prime 3 Thoughts?

well, sorry if i confused everyone

i was thinking something like this (to be extreme):

    2 enemy A and B
    A is bottom left
    B is top right

you want to circle strafe enemy A but you want to shoot both B and A. (i.e. you want to keep directly looking at A but you want to shoot B at the top right..)

if you have key mouse comb or metroid control, you can't really do that because your circle strafe is locked to where you are looking (and aiming) - i.e. you can circle strafe A and shoot at B but you will be guessing with WASD limited controls...because you will be looking directly at B...

but with independent control (aiming, looking and moving) you can do that...(i.e. you can look directly at A and if your screen is big enough, you can see B at top right and aim at with the wiimote while still looking at A

not sure if i have confused you guys further!
