    Modified Wii technology...

I can't see this posted here yet so apologises if I'm wrong. The guy has been playing around with the infared technology that comes with the Wii and has done some completely amazing things with it. It's best just to watch the videos so you can see for yourself. The best is left till last and I'm truly of the opinion this could actually revolutionise how we play games as much as the Wii console itself. Still save it till last and watch your gob hit the floor

Wow - that really is amazing. Ok, not fussed about the whiteboard application. but the other two (Finger tracking and head tracking) look like they could be harnessed readily in games.

I wonder if Nintendo have already begun thinking about usage like this yet. It wouldnt surprise me. Can you just imagine a FPS game usign the VR tech? Or even a boxing one - that would be tremenous. It would really bring the level of interaction up another bar.

Unfortunately, its probably going to be a while until we see anything like that implemented - but who ever does it first in a decent game is going to be MINTED!!!

    Merry Christmas!

It's this level of technology that's the next "jump" in computing, between people developing home grown technologies like this and some of the other things out there (MS Surface computing, the electrical field interface etc), in a couple of years time they'll be a lot more ways to interact with your systems.

I fold for Hexus, do you?
