The Beginning of Something New? (Wii) - Conduit

Saw this mentioned on another forum. Looks like it is pushing the wii pretty hard, but should make a nice change so long as they don't try to rush things!

    IGN: The Conduit Preview

I just think that they will change a fair few things, as Mario Kart has some low framerates at times And I've never seen the wii anti-aliase so well...
Thing that worries me is that at the end they have said they want to reach for 60fps as opposed to 30, which worries me slightly - are they going to put horrid textures in or something?

Hopefully the controls and gameplay will be immersive though

Seeing this after watching some trailers for upcoming games on other platforms makes me wish Nintedo had invested a little more processing power in the Wii.

I think it's something about the lighting effects of the trailer, but everything looks a lot more flat than it should do.

I 100% agree. To use pretty much the same hardware as the Gamecube seems insane. Think what an extra £20 spent on each console could have given.

Sure they have their 'revolution' but its a shame they didn't push it that little bit more. But then for the majority of users and considering the games I don't think it's so much of a problem for them. But I think come its 2nd birthday it will start looking very dated, even with their family orientated games...

OF course they weren't going to spend huge amounts when it wasn't certain that the idea would be a success.
