    Dead Rising For Wii wtf

Well, there goes my main single-player reason for buying a 360. Except... now FFXIII is coming to 360, so I may just buy those instead of the PS3 combo, as I like J-RPGs. Ah, well.

Someone at Kotaku commented that the zombies should be sprite-based to keep the high number of onscreen zombies.

I was amazed by this announcement too. Dead Rising is probably one of my favourite games on the 360 (I played the demo over and over again until I actually bought the game), but I'll be tempted to try it out on the Wii. But a lot of the fun was in the sheer amount of zombies that you had to maim/kill/avoid - so how it'll translate to the Wii - I'm uncertain. It is nice though to see big developers actually making more mature rated games for a Nintendo console though (I wonder if Ninty will want to censor parts though - it is quite gory at times!)

They said they're aiming for 100+ zombies onscreen in the final Wii build. Quite a few people on the Internet have already reviewed the game based on the 8 screenshots released so far and found it sucks. Idiots. It's not due out until Winter (in Japan). I hope it's good! But... we'll see.

They've removed the photography mode, though, which a lot of people have said was a fun part of the 360 version.

Photography mode was ok, sometimes though it was just damned annoying. Must admit the best bit for the photography is the start when you are in the helicopter and also when you meet up with the first lot of people in the mall. Zombies are trying to get in, then a little old dears dog gets out and she lets them in. Some really good photo moments there.

Trying to photo the surfer dude in action was a pain.

If they keep some of it in there I guess it would be no bad thing.
