    Netbooks

I am currently pondering upgrading from my old laptop to netbook. Basic needs are the ability to playback 1080p through HDMI, good battery, reasonable weight, and cheap. Happy to go refurb. Just wondered whats out there now? Did have an original MSI wind back when they were released

    Re: Netbooks

I got a x121e i3 for around £350 end of last year, which seem pretty good so far. x130e is coming soon though I think.
Alternatively something with an AMD E-450 should be able to handle 1080p also, something like a HP Pavilion dm1-4125ea.

    Re: Netbooks

I have seen on the forums that both the x120 and the DM1 have severe problems with wi fi.

    Re: Netbooks

This is something I have been thinking about recently. My ancient laptop has always been limited to mains use only as the battery has always been poor (well, It is old technology) So I was thinking about buying a netbook but, then thought maybe it would be better to buy a small laptop (yes I still use the term Laptop).

I don't want to spend a fortune on one, Would like a fair size HDD, min 2GB RAM and half decent battery life. A light weight is an advantage.
